A traffic accident involving a motorcycle occurred this Thursday around 5 p.m. in Baelen, near the Wansart furniture store, just before entering Dolhain from Baelen.
The driver of a motorcycle (a Liege according to the Belga agency) lost control of his two-wheeled vehicle, at the exit of the Forges bends, in the direction of Dolhain. He then struck a sign. The Welkenraedt ambulance and the Bra-sur-Lienne medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene. Despite all the help, the victim did not survive and died on the spot. It is said to be a young person returning from the examination center in Eupen, where he passed his license.
