Fatal lie. Why teachers were killed in France

Samuel Pati was beheaded by a Chechen

One of the reasons for the murder of history teacher Samuel Pati near Paris in October 2020 was the student’s banal lie to her parents.

The story of the murder of teacher Samuel Pati in France has spread all over the world. Initially, it was believed that the teacher was beheaded because of the way he showed students cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

After this event, a wave of protests in support of Pati took place in France, Emmanuel Macron decided to reform Islam, for which he turned into an enemy of many Muslim countries.

But now it turned out that this whole truly global story began with just a small lie.

Lie to parents

According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, the 13-year-old schoolgirl was suspended from school due to absenteeism. She did not want her father to know about this and told him that she was kicked out of the class because she objected to the proposal of the teacher, who allegedly told Muslims to leave the class before showing the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

The outraged father then recorded several videos accusing the teacher of Islamophobia, and also filed a complaint with the police and school authorities. One of the videos went viral. After 10 days, the teacher was killed. The father told the teacher’s name, mentioned the name of the school and accused the teacher of Islamophobia.

Party’s killer, 18-year-old Abdulakh Anzorov, was shot dead during his arrest. A Chechen by nationality, he was born in Moscow and moved to France with his family.

According to the investigation, Anzorov killed Pati because of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad. Anzorov never studied with Pati and did not know what he looked like. Anzorov responded to the call of one of the parents in social networks to “stop Party”. Now it turns out that this call was recorded because of the lies of the schoolgirl.

All admitted

The schoolgirl’s lawyer claims that she slandered the teacher because of the pressure of her classmates. According to him, the class asked the girl to express their opinion, and she could not object to them.

“All the information available during the investigation quickly made it clear that she was lying,” – said the lawyer of the Pati family, Virginie Le Roy.

“Samuel Pati never singled out Muslim students. I never asked them to leave the classroom or raise their hands. This is what is important for his family, for his memory – that this truth, at least, has been restored, ”the defender emphasized.

According to the Daily Mail, the schoolgirl was charged with libel.

The girl was not even in class on the day Pati showed his students the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. Presenting herself to investigators, the 13-year-old schoolgirl admitted that she had lied.

“Yes, I lied, I didn’t see the cartoons … If I hadn’t told my father about them, he wouldn’t have recorded this video – and Anzorov would not have contacted him and arranged this tragedy.”

At that moment, the girl was expelled from school for two days. Her twin sister is also an exemplary student.

“I didn’t want to disappoint my father, who always compares me to my sister, who is much more diligent at school,” the girl admitted.
