NEW YORK — Authorities say one person died after becoming entangled in a cement mixing truck in the Bronx.
The deadly incident occurred shortly before 1:30 pm on Grinnell Place between Barry Street and East 156th Street in Hunts Point, FDNY officials said.
There weren’t many details immediately available about what happened or how it happened, but the FDNY said a person somehow became entangled in the truck’s machinery. EMS responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The person’s name has not yet been revealed. An investigation is ongoing.
