While extinguishing a fire in the Folkingedwarsstraat in Groningen, the fire brigade found a deceased person in the house. This happened around 11pm on Monday night.
Fire brigade, ambulance and police were called out because of a fire in a residential complex in the Folkingedwarsstraat in the center of Groningen. The street was full of smoke and was closed off, just like the adjacent Folkingestraat. A deceased person was found by the fire brigade during the extinguishing, reports a police spokesman.
The detective is investigating the cause of death. There were no other casualties in the fire.
