“Fatal Drunk Driving Incident: Stephanie Melgoza Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison”

This Saturday, April 26, a year after the events that claimed the lives of two people, Stephanie Melgoza, who appeared before an Illinois court, seemed to take the exact measure of the gravity of her actions.

In tears, the young woman expressed her remorse: “I am very sorry and I will never do such a thing again. I haven’t had a drink since the day of the tragedy, and I will never drink again. I want to try to do something positive to change things, talk about this case and warn others about the dangers of alcohol,” she said in particular before the court which sentenced her to 14 years in prison.
