A pedestrian died after a collision with a car near the Groningen village of Oldehove on Sunday. Two other pedestrians were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car has been arrested. He has been taken to the police station and is being interrogated.
The collision happened at the end of the afternoon on the Boventilsterweg. The police were alerted at 5:10 p.m. According to it Dagblad van het Noorden an air ambulance also arrived on the scene.
