Jonathan Ramos Robles, a 30-year-old man, died when the car he was driving crashed into a tree outside Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx (NYC).
A passenger was seriously injuredreported Daily News. Ramos Robles was heading north on Jerome Ave. when he lost control of his Honda Odyssey and crashed into a tree around 3:20 a.m. Sunday near Bainbridge Ave. in Norwood, the NYPD reported.
Ramos Robles died at the scene, a few blocks from where he crashed, police said. Paramedics took his passenger, a 42-year-old woman, to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition. Her name and the possible link between the two were not revealed. The cause of the accident has also not been determined.
The authorities remember that there is zero tolerance for drivers who drive at excess speed and/or under the influence of alcohol and drugs..
