Fatal Car Collision in Brooklyn Leaves One Dead and Multiple Injured

The collision between two cars in the streets of Brooklyn left one person dead and at least three injured, early this Friday.

The heavy collision was reported around 3:30 am at the intersection of Court Street and Atlantic Avenue.

According to preliminary police information, the cars collided head-on.

Upon impact, one of the vehicles caught fire.

Firefighters rushed to the scene to control the flames.

One of the passengers of a Honda Accord car died at the scene.

While a man and a woman who were traveling with him were taken in serious condition to Methodist Hospital.

In the other vehicle, which was allegedly responsible for the accident, a woman was injured.

The driver of this vehicle attempted to flee the scene after the crash but was apprehended moments later.

The incident is under investigation.
