Fatal accident on the road to Makaza checkpoint

Accident with one victim early this morning on the main road to Makaza check point. This difficult information was confirmed for “Focus” by the police in Kardzhali.

The road accident was reported around 8 o’clock.

An 86-year-old Lada driver, while trying to join the traffic on the main road Kardjali – Makaza checkpoint, hit a Skoda with Romanian registration in the village of Parvitsa.

As a result of the accident, the old man lost his life. The occupants of the Romanian car were sent to investigate but were in contact.

At the moment, the road is closed in both directions, and a bypass route has been introduced through the Purvitsa town road network.

The accident scene is being investigated and pre-trial proceedings are being held.
