Two people died in an accident on the Boerengatbrug near Rotterdam Blaak station on Saturday evening.
After the accident, the driver of an involved car drove on. The police cannot yet say whether the victims are pedestrians, cyclists or other road users. The cause of the accident is also not yet known.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the victims, police said.
Police are investigating and calling for witnesses to come forward.
