A motorist was killed in an accident on Friday evening on the A27 near Almere. The driver got out after being involved in a collision. He was then hit by a car and died.
The crash that preceded the fatality involved the victim’s car and a truck. Police report that the driver was probably hit by another passing truck.
The A27 is closed between Almere and Almere-Hout so that the police can investigate. Rijkswaterstaat expects that the road will remain closed for the time being.
