An accident involving three cars on the N848 near Vuren in Gelderland has cost the life of a man. Two people were also injured. The police have arrested the driver of the accident.
The arrested driver tried to overtake another car near the Nieuweweg, but hit that car in the process. The inhaler’s car was then hit by another car.
A man who was in the car with the driver who caused the accident has died. A woman in the car was taken to hospital. Someone from the third vehicle was also taken to the hospital.
The control room received a report of the accident around 1:50 p.m. At the scene, ambulance personnel saw that one of the vehicles had ended up in the ditch. Two trauma helicopters, several ambulances and a fire truck were involved in the emergency deployment. The road is completely closed for investigation.
