A 60-year-old driver was killed and two other people were injured in an accident this afternoon in the village of Toplec in the Romanian county of Karash-Severin on the border with Dumbovica county, Agerpress reported, quoted by BTA.
All the victims are Bulgarian citizens.
The accident took place on National Road DN6 in the area. All are Bulgarian citizens.
According to the District Police Inspectorate, five vehicles collided – three cars, one bus and one van.
A man and a woman were injured and transported to hospital.
According to initial data, a passenger car registered in Bulgaria and driven by a 60-year-old Bulgarian collided head-on with a bus registered in the Olt district.
Two more cars from Mecedinc and Dolj counties were hit, as well as a minibus registered in Bulgaria.
