Mojokerto – A fatal accident with a water tanker rammed dozens of carnival participants in the Pacet area, Mojokerto, causing a number of people to die and dozens of people injured. The latest information gathered is that 3 victims died.
Head of Mojokerto Police Laka Unit Iptu Wihandoko confirmed this. He received further information that 3 people died in an accident when a carnival group was hit by a tanker truck in Pacet.
“That’s the information (3 people died), but I can’t be sure myself, I’m on my way to the hospital,” said Wihandoko to detikJatimThursday (24/8/2023).
He said that currently a number of fatal accident victims were taken to the Sumberglagah Regional Hospital. Meanwhile, other information stated that a number of injured victims were being treated at the Pacet Health Center.
