A person has died in an accident on the A28 near De Bilt. The driver of the BMW is believed to have flipped onto the back of a truck.
A long track is visible on the road. The truck and car came to a stop in the emergency lane. It is not yet clear how the accident happened. The identity of the victim is not yet known.
The A28 from Soesterberg in the direction of Utrecht will be closed for the time being. According to the ANWB, traffic from Zwolle and Amersfoort in the direction of Utrecht can best take a detour via Hilversum on the A1 and A27.
