Fastned, the operator of charging stations for electric cars, will increase its rates from Monday. This is due to rising energy prices in Europe, the company reports. Because the energy markets are uncertain, the company will review the rates on a monthly basis and adjust them if necessary.
Specifically, it concerns the standard rates in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. In France, this rate remains unchanged. The rate for the United Kingdom will be adjusted on September 1. For season ticket holders, the rates will go up in all countries on Monday.
With the increase, the price for a kilowatt hour (kWh) in our country will be 0.68 euros. For Dutch subscription holders, who pay a monthly fee in exchange for lower rates, the price rises to 0.45 euros per kWh.
