Fastned opened 10 new charging stations in the Netherlands and 5 in Belgium in 3 months – Sound and Vision – News

Fastned opened 10 new charging stations in the Netherlands and 5 in Belgium last quarter. The company said this when presenting its quarterly results. A total of 30 charging stations were added, many of them in France.

The number of charging stations is still below 250, but it has already arranged locations for many more charging stations: with the places now recruited, that should become 375, says Fastned. From 2024, the company wants to open 100 charging stations per year; last year there were 59. The company has therefore not achieved its self-set goal of 253 charging stations before the end of 2022.

The target for the number of chargers has been achieved. Fastned wanted 1200 and that has become 1237. That is in addition to opening new stations by increasing the number of chargers at existing stations. 235 chargers were added, much more than in previous quarters.

The number of active customers and charging sessions also continued to grow. The occupancy rose to 13.2 percent and the number of active customers amounted to 219,000, who accounted for a total of 787,000 charging sessions. The charging turnover amounted to 13.3 million euros, which is 177 percent more than in the same quarter the year before. The average charging turnover therefore amounted to around 17 euros, the same as in the previous quarter. In the first six months, Fastned earned 13.50 per charging session.
