Fabio Quartararo master free practice II MotoGP Spain 2022, ahead of Eena Bastianini and Francesco Bagnaia. Meanwhile Marc Marquez it’s really bad.
In the second practice session at the Jerez Circuit, Friday (29/4/2022) evening WIB, Quartararo posted the fastest time of 1 minute 37.071 seconds. The Yamaha rider was 0.201 seconds better than Bastianini and 0.212 seconds ahead of Bagnaia.
Even so, Quartararo had a minor incident when driving into the grass area when he was about to exit the last corner. Bagnaia had looked promising after leading the session in the final laps, but then Bastianini passed before Quartararo confirmed himself as the fastest driver.
Marquez must finish the second free practice of the Spanish MotoGP 2022 in 19th place. The Repsol Honda rider crashed twice: at the sixth and ninth corners of the same lap!
According to CrashMarquez’s second accident was suspected because his motorbike hit a wet track area.
Pramac’s Jorge Martin took fourth place ahead of Takaaki Nakagami who raced with LCR. Brad Brinder and Pol Espargaro were respectively behind them in sixth and seventh positions.
The Suzuki duo: Joan Mir and Alex Rins did not have a session as smooth as the first. Rins finished this second practice in eighth place ahead of Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller and Johann Zarco. While Mir actually slumped in position 12.
