Francesco Bagnaia come out to be the fastest in Free Practice 3 Spanish MotoGP. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez finally able to qualify for Q2 thanks to an impressive performance.
At the Jerez Circuit, Spain, Saturday (30/4/2022), the spotlight was on Marquez in FP3. Because, riders Repsol Honda it needs a good result in order to qualify for Q2.
Previously in FP2, Marquez was in 19th place. Therefore, The Baby Alien needs good results in the next session so that the total time record is boosted, and can qualify for Q2.
And the mission was completed in FP3. World champion MotoGP six times it can finish fourth in FP3, with a time of 1 minute 36.925 seconds. The record time has increased from FP2, which was previously only 1 minute 38.00 seconds. That way, Marquez can qualify for Q2.
Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia be the fastest. The Ducati rider recorded a time of 1 minute 36,782 seconds.
Fabio Quartararo, Monster Energy Yamaha rider, had to settle for dropping to second place with a time of 1 minute 36,849 seconds. Then, position three is filled Takaaki Nakagami from the LCR Honda team. The top five then closed Maverick Vinales from the Aprilia team.
