“Fast & Furious X: The Beginning of the End – Will the Writers’ Strike Affect the Final Film?”

After a long wait, this week Fast & Furious X will finally hit theaters, the film that will mark the beginning of the end of the dizzying action saga starring Vin Diesel.

The film will follow the revenge plans of Dante, son of Hernán, the villain of Fast & Furious 5 whose plans were thwarted by Dominic Toretto and his family”.

For the past 12 years Dante has perpetrated a detailed revenge plan to take down both Dom and the rest of the group.

But everything gets complicated when Dom discovers that Dante’s target is his son so, with the help of his “family”, he will try to stop him and save the little one.

Will the ending of Fast & Furious be affected by the writers’ strike?

Recently a new and prolonged strike of Hollywood scriptwriters is taking place, who have decided to stop their work to demand their labor rights.

This has caused the vast majority of productions to be paralyzed waiting for writers and studios to reach a mutual agreement that makes things return to normal.

Because of this, not a few fans have set their sights on Fast & Furious 11, the movie which, in principle, will close the saga of Dominic Toretto (we say “in principle” because Vin Diesel recently hinted that the closure of Fast & Furious will finally be a trilogy of films).

In a recent interview for Los Angeles TimesPeter Cramer, president of Universal Pictures, addressed whether the Hollywood writers’ strike will affect his current release plans for Fast & Furious 11, which is scheduled for release in 2025.

As expected, Cramer commented that it is inevitable that the production of Fast & Furious 11 will be affected by the writers’ strikeespecially if it lasts a long time.

“The writers’ strike is something that is on everyone’s mind. It depends on how long it lasts, but will obviously interrupt the writing process on the next ‘Fast’ movie. If it goes on too long, it’s hard to imagine that we can put this movie on the timeline we’d like.”stated emphatically the president of Universal.
