Xiaomi presented the Mi 10 Ultra in the summer, which, however, will not come to us in Germany. At the time of the announcement, the number “120” caused a sensation, as it appears again and again in the specifications.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a display with 120 Hz, a 120x zoom and can be charged with 120 watts. But they don’t arrive at all, a test has now shown, even though they advertise “120 W” on the included power supply.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra charges with almost 80 watts
At Android Authority If you looked closely at the 120 watts of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and found that it charges with almost 90 watts for a very short time and then drops directly to almost 80 watts. The energy is not lost, however, it is just not delivered. And it has been found that it is not really slower with a 50 watt power supply. The 120 watts are probably just marketing.
However, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra can still be charged very quickly. The battery is divided into two halves with 2250 mAh each and can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in less than 30 minutes. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra does not deliver 120 watts, but maintains the high charging power for a very long time.
Personally, I’m not a fan of 50+ watts and, to be honest, I don’t need such extreme power, since smartphones now have a good battery life and you can get through the day even with 120 Hz.
Xiaomi could certainly have scored with 80 watts and delighted fans, since that is not a matter of course in today’s world. It is not yet known why they opted for 120 watts and not deliver that.
