The Metro Manila Subway is set to revolutionize the way locals travel. Connecting with different railway networks, including LRT 1, MRT 3, MRT 7, and the Grand Common station, as well as LRT 2 at Anonas Station and two stations of the North-South Commuter Rail, the subway promises seamless travel from Valenzuela to NAIA and back. With a capacity of 519,000 passengers per day and an expected completion date of 2028, the public can look forward to faster and more convenient travel, with the journey time from Valenzuela to NAIA getting reduced from an hour and ten minutes to just forty-five minutes. Attended by influential figures such as Department of National Defense Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and Japan International Cooperation Agency Senior Representative Kenji Kuronuma, the groundbreaking ceremony marked the beginning of a new era in Manila’s transport system.
