At Fashion Week, stars like Bad Bunny showed off their best side – and of course with luxurious timepieces on their wrists.
Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known as Bad Bunny, is not only an icon in the fashion world, his watch collection is equally impressive. From a solid gold Submariner to a rare wooden Day-Date to all sorts of women’s watches, the singer-songwriter, rapper and producer has very unique and exclusive tastes. Although he could most likely get his hands on the hottest watches of the moment quite easily, he prefers the unconventional pieces instead.

At Milan Fashion Week, Bad Bunny wore a true horlogerie gem for the Gucci Ancora show: an 18-karat yellow gold Cartier Santos Carrée from the 1980s. Although the Santos itself is one of the most famous items from the brand’s product catalog, the rapper’s watch had relatively little in common with the standard models. This can already be seen in all the diamonds that sparkle on this timepiece with the reference number 829600. The dial and bezel literally glow and even the yellow gold bracelet is set with the precious stones. Benito paired it with casual blue jeans and a white shirt – a smart choice, the watch is already exciting enough.
The Cartier de Santos is one of the most historic watches
The Santos can now look back on over a hundred years of history. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Brazilian aeronaut Alberto Santos-Dumont made a number of pioneering flights in Paris and, as part of the elite there, he was of course friends with none other than Louis Cartier himself. He gave the pilot one of the first wristwatches in the world – the watch model that we still know today as Santos-Dumont. Its rectangular case and simple dial with its Roman numerals (and the Breguet hands of the original model) made the watch an icon – years before the Tank was even presented. Fun Fact: In fact, despite its very elegant appearance, the Santos is considered the world’s first pilot’s watch.
When the timepiece was reintroduced as a stainless steel version in 1978, it was given the current name Cartier de Santos – but the nickname Santos Carrée (French for square) quickly followed and is still used by most people. Thanks to their popularity, it didn’t take long before other versions were presented: two-tone models, precious metal options and of course the diamond-studded version, which we were now able to admire on Bad Bunny’s wrist.
Ryan Gosling’s love for the Tag Heuer Carrera seems endless

Ryan Gosling also wore one of his special pieces at the Gucci show in Milan. His Tag Heuer Carrera, reference number 1158, is an automatic, C-shaped version of the famous driver’s watch and was originally dedicated to the racing drivers of the Ferrari Formula 1 team in the 1970s. It is also one of the favorite watches of Jack Heuer, the former CEO of Tag Heuer. The watch may look familiar because it was part of the iconic Ken scene in “Barbie,” in which Gosling wore three watches at once. A Movewhich not everyone can deliver convincingly and coolly.
Roger Federer relies on a classic with his Rolex Day-Date

Admittedly, seeing Federer with a Rolex is nothing particularly special – after all, he is an official brand ambassador for the Swiss watch house. Still, we can’t get enough of it – the ex-tennis player is simply the personification of the perfect gentleman. He proved this once again when he paired a classic suit with his black onyx-dial Day-Date and iconic President bracelet a few days ago– formidable!
Lionel Messi, on the other hand, likes it a little more exotic

An entire blog could easily be dedicated to the legendary striker’s watch collection. Whether with various versions of the Nautilus from Patek Philippe or with various models from Rolex, the football player is constantly spotted with adorable timepieces on his wrist. But at an Inter Miami game he outdid himself: Messi appeared with a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, reference number 5271/12P. This 41mm hand-wound beauty with a platinum case and a bezel full of baguette-cut rubies costs around 330,000 euros. It not only shows you the time and date, but also the moon phase, leap years and whether it is day or night.
Patrick Mahomes prefers his watches to be sporty – and incredibly expensive

Mahomes is definitive a Rolex guy, as he’s been spotted wearing all sorts of shiny accessories from the brand with the crown. Of all of them Rolies, which we have seen on his wrist in recent years, was none as ostentatious as this Yacht-Master. Instead of a standard matte black dial, Mahomes’ copy has a diamond-set dial that reflects more light than some mirrors. Paired with an Everose case with a Cerachrom bezel and an Oysterflex bracelet, it’s a compelling mix of practicality (100m water resistance, rubber strap) and elevated luxury (precious metal, tons of diamonds) that befits one of the world’s highest-paid and most accomplished athletes as equal.
