On 15-18. June, Refresher went to Hradec Králové, where the 28th Rock for People festival took place. Fashion from the subway a fashion from the streets we moved to the airport and mapped out for you how young Czechs dress at festivals. We also found out from the visitors how they were looking forward to the festival after a long coronavirus silence, which bands they came for and whether fashion or comfort is more important to them. What are you wearing today and where do you get it from?
I have torn fake converts from Deichmann, socks from H&M, Lululemon shorts and a shirt from a friend from a chisel.
How did you look forward to the festival after a long coronavirus break?
Very, two years was a long time. There were small concerts, but this is much better.
Which bands did you come to Rock for People with?
Cleopatra, so I’m done today (laughs). But also Reignwolf, YONAKA and others who don’t listen and play in the afternoon.
What is more important for you at the festival: fashion or comfort?
Comfort. It must be comfortable and I must not sweat too much.

What are you wearing today and where do you get it from?
I have most of H&M because I work there. In fact, almost everything except shoes, I have you from Zaland.
How did you look forward to the festival after a long coronavirus break?
A lot, even though it was a lot of spontaneous action and we didn’t even know until the last moment if we were going.
Which bands did you come to Rock for People with?
I’m running away from Skindred, but I also came because of Green Day, which everyone probably likes, Sum 41 or Enter Shikari.
What is more important for you at the festival: fashion or comfort?
Probably both, but I always go black, so I have an easy choice.

What are you wearing today and where do you get it from?
I have pants from C&A, a top from New Yorker, a necklace from the Mohito store, a kidney bag from my parents, a Under Armor cap, rings from Italy and I have converts on my legs.
How did you look forward to the festival after a long coronavirus break?
A lot, this is my first festival. I had no idea what to expect from it, but it’s absolutely amazing.
Which bands did you come to Rock for People with?
Now I’ve seen Cleopatraick being great, and I’m looking forward to Highly Suspect, Royal Blood and more.
What is more important for you at the festival: fashion or comfort?
Both are important to me. My pants are looser, so it’s not hot in them, but at the same time I wanted it to be at least a little fashionable.
