The term “Modestadt Düsseldorf” should be filled with life again – with a festival at the end of July for the next “Düsseldorf Fashion Days” (July 21-28). Representatives of fashion houses and boutiques then come to our city from all over Germany to order new goods.
At the same time, there should be actions in shops, hotels or galleries. For example, small stages and pop-up stores are planned. Theresa Winkels from the Düsseldorf Economic Development Agency is happy that the fashion industry in Düsseldorf suffered less during the pandemic because the showrooms were able to open:
There are around 600 showrooms in Düsseldorf – many around Kaiserswerther Strasse and in the harbor.
