Music, dance, painting, architecture, audiovisual aesthetics, textile art and fashion; all in a single virtual event, which more than a parade was an artistic event, presenting the new collection by Najjat Harb, “Spinning my roots”.

A classical dancer (Ariadna Villareal), a saxophonist, Arab dancers, a pianist, a painter, a singer, an architect, textile artisans, models and, of course, the designer behind the project, met, recognized themselves in the need to humanize art, conceived, created and shaped a project that ended last Saturday, March 13, in a multidisciplinary, unique and purposeful show unprecedented in the area.

After graduating from IED Barcelona and after having worked at Iris van Herpen for Paris Fashion Week and having been featured in magazines such as Brtitish Vogue, (for three consecutive months) Harpers Baazar, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Gratzia, Nylon, Kluid and many others with a worldwide presence; Najjat Harb returned to her homeland, the capital of Mexico to connect with herself and her feminine essence; to rediscover their experiences and use them as inspiration for creation and achieve, through a fashion collection, reach and transmit one of the most wonderful powers of the human being: that of being in balance with oneself.

Through shawls, blouses, pants, outfits, the performing and visual arts, and through a YouTube broadcast, the Mexican-Lebanese woman managed to project her wishes to promote a change in the conceptions and mentalities anchored in our society, ”why separate as a society? Why divide us as individuals? it’s time to get together ”.

After months of work, in which everyone involved learned from each other and strengthened ties, the collection was presented with great success, despite the limitations of the health emergency.

The video of the transmission is still available for streaming on YouTube and social networks
