The well-known Romanian coach Gheorghe Hadji, who led Farul to the first league title in the club’s history last season, intends to take his team to a new level.
According to the Romanian media, the 58-year-old specialist intends to take as a basis the model of his compatriot, the current coach of Dynamo Kiev, Mircea Lucescu, which he built in his time at Shakhtar Donetsk, relying on young but talented Brazilian legionnaires.
“We want to bring to Farul the number of Brazilians that will allow us to take the team to a new level, to solve new problems. However, this does not mean that during the summer transfer window we will only acquire South Americans, ”Hadji said about his plans.
It is reported that Hadji has already contacted Lucescu and enlisted his support in terms of advisory assistance in repeating Shakhtar’s project at Farul.
