The little man has been given the name Kees and was born on November 15th. Tom, who nowadays works as a gardener in the RTL program Own House & Garden can be seen, writes: ‘We are very proud of our beautiful and brave son and brother.’
Little Kees ended up in hospital shortly after birth. “When he was ten days old, he got the RS virus. Then he had to be hospitalized for three more days,” Tom tells us RTL Boulevard. “He had a very high fever and was very short of breath. It was pretty nasty, but on the other hand it was also nice that he was in the hospital.” The boy is now doing well.

The farmer took part in the popular program in 2015 farmer seeks wife. He was immediately labeled a hunk by viewers and received no fewer than 1800 love letters. It looked very likely that he would end up with the blond Rimke. However, that romance was short-lived. At the end of the season, it turned out that they didn’t match enough.
A few days after the recording of the reunion, Tom got to know his current love: Marieke Ploeger. The two turned out to have mutual friends and sometimes saw each other on birthdays. Sparks flew at a party in Schagen. They already had a son Moos together.
