On Tuesday, “The Farm” is finally back on the TV screen. 14 new tenants have traveled 100 years back in time, where they will run a farm in beautiful Southern Norway and fight for survival.
During the more than 20 years the program has been on the TV screen, it has been experienced that the concept leads to both drama and friendship, but also romance. You can’t get away from a “Farmen” season without sweet music or romance rumors arising between some of the participants.
This year’s season is no exception, and in the first pictures from the sørlandsgården it emerged that Kornelia Kløv (25) and Sebastian Eide (33) have already found the tone.
However, not everyone is equally open to a farm romance.
Not sure the chemistry is right on the outside
When Nettavisen met the participants before they left for recording this summer, several of the single participants were asked if they could imagine a “Farmen” flirt. Although many responded that they wouldn’t rule out a little romance, there was one contestant who definitely didn’t want to find love in 1923.
– I have promised my sister that I will not get a boyfriend on “The Farm”, said participant Martin Hals Johannessen (24) to Nettavisen.
Nor does he himself believe that he will find love that way.
– If there is a potential wife inside “The Farm”, I would probably prefer to make contact when we get home from the farm, he said.
Johannessen points out that there are many who have found their tone during their stay on the farm, but that the conditions do not always last when they return home.
– You can be a little surprised at how long those couples last afterwards. It is one thing to be in a romance on the farm, and there are certainly many people you could have a romance with there, but then you might not have as much in common as you would think when you get back home, he said and continued :
– We have to return to the real world eventually. It will probably be important to remind yourself. If you find a girl in there who you think is really good, it is not certain that you would think the same on the outside.

Johannessen believes that feelings are intensified when you live in the well-known “reality bubble”, but hopes that he will be able to wait with romance until he returns home.
– You get all spectrums in there and you live there for a long time, so if there’s a girl I’m very attracted to, it can be difficult to hold me back too, he admitted.
– I’m a little fascinated
The filming of “The Farm” is still ongoing, and Nettavisen has not been in contact with the participants since they entered the farm. What has happened in the meantime is therefore unknown, but the first pictures could already reveal that hot feelings have arisen inside the “Farmen” farm between Kornelia Kløv and Sebastian Eide.
Also in the second episode, it emerges that several of the other participants have noticed early on that there is a flirtatious tone between the duo, and Kløv admits that a flirtation has arisen between the two.
– I found Sebastian very entertaining. He tends to have the exact opposite opinions to me, which I actually thought I would find very annoying, but then we are a bit alike too. You could perhaps call it a little flirtation, says Kløv in the episode.
Also later in the episode, Kløv admits that there has been a spark there.
– I’m a bit fascinated by Sebastian. It’s a bit small actually. I smile every time I talk to and about him, says Kløv.
Eide told Nettavisen before moving in that he was open to a farm romance, but that it was not something he was initially looking for.
– It must happen naturally in that case. If I meet someone I like, and she likes me back, then something can quickly happen. But it’s not like I go in with the idea of meeting someone here, Eide told Nettavisen.

However, Eide’s “kline partner”, Kløv, was not so sure if a farm romance was for her. She could tell that she likes the single life in 2023, and would prefer to stay single for a while longer.
– I don’t go in with any goal of finding a “hunk” there. But now TV 2 is known for sending in some Berts and hunks so that they can flirt a bit, so it’s scary to be single on “Farmen”, but I’m actually happy like that, Kløv said before she asked the question a bit cooling off period:
– But now I don’t know what kind of people are there. Those are the times when you shouldn’t find someone, you often do. And you live in a bubble there, so it’s hard to say. But it will probably take a little more.
– Have fun flirting
Erika Ellingsen was able to tell Nettavisen before she traveled to the farm that she has been a big fan of “The Farm” for all these years, and has always imagined that on the day she herself would eventually be involved, a little romance would be nice. When it now happens, however, she is still a little uncertain.
– I have imagined that I would sit and milk with a sickly handsome guy and have a “Farmen” flirt. But now that I’m actually in it and going in, my focus is 100 percent on myself and winning. I can’t think of anyone in there that would be more interesting than that goal.
Participant Anders Rydning (37) was also asked if he was interested in a farm flirtation, and did not quite believe that in that case he would be the one to get a bit of farm romance.
– I am not going in with great ambitions that it will happen. I do not believe. But who knows? People get a little crazy in there, so maybe something will happen. But I think there will probably be friendship in there rather than love.

Participant Björk Valnes Atladóttir (28) also wants to stick to friendship, but does not rule out that there may be some flirting.
– It’s fun to flirt, but I’m not looking for a boyfriend, she said.
