The farm of Peis lies almost entirely within the protected area, which calls market Swabia. Of his 40 ha, 38 ha would be affected, including the composting facility and farmstead. That would be his Livelihood completely destroyed. “Nobody says anything about one hectare, but this is about our whole farm, with farmstead,” says Peis in an interview weekly paper. There is no lack of motivation or will to participate in water or climate protection. In addition, the farmers would also have to be compensated, explains the farmer. Well 2 should not be much cheaper compared to other alternatives. But this is only an assumption.
But the acting mayor of Anzing makes it clear: “If there are alternatives, then our demand is very clear: Check the alternatives, and do it intelligently. So that it doesn’t happen on the backs of the affected farmers.” Alternatives have already been submitted with the petition. And so the fight goes into the next round: Anton Peis for his farm and neighbors, Kathrin Alte for her farmers and her community. And there is currently no end in sight.
The Ebersberg district office had not yet commented on the incident at the time of going to press.
