Färjestad BK fires General Manager Peter Jakobsson. In a press release on his website writes the club that his mission in the club is over
– Peter is a good person and he has done a great job during his years with us. For that, we want to say a big thank you and wish him all the best in the future, says CEO Stefan Larsson.
Rickard Wallin, who sits on the main board of the club, and is active in one of the youth teams, takes over the role.
– Rickard will have the overall sports responsibility for Färjestad BK, be part of the association’s management team and in the function report to the board on sports issues and take office immediately, says Larsson and continues:
– Rickard will naturally in the short term focus on the current season but also on the future construction and development of the association’s sporting activities over time. It also includes evaluating the organization, conditions and overall strategies for Färjestad BK’s sporting activities.
Takes a break from the expert role
Wallin also works as an expert in Viaplay, but according to colleague Niklas Jihde, Wallin is now taking a break from that job.
