Farid El-Deeb, a lawyer for former President Hosni Mubarak, said that his client has been in intensive care in the hospital for more than a month, after he had a stomach fatigue, and after examinations, doctors said that he needed accurate intestine surgery.
He added, in statements to “Al-Masry Al-Youm”, that “Mubarak” was subjected to comprehensive tests, including analyzes and measurement of pressure and sugar in preparation for performing the surgery, and after completing the medical examinations he underwent surgery in a hospital in the Armed Forces, and after its completion he suffered health complications, which led to his deposit Intensive care room, and after a month has passed inside the intensive care room it started to improve, but it did not reach the stage of complete stability.
Al-Deeb indicated that he is constantly visiting him in the hospital to check on him, pointing out that only family members and his lawyer are allowed to visit him.
And Al-Deeb continued that “Mubarak” received the criminal court’s ruling on Saturday, which ruled the innocence of his two sons, “Alaa and Jamal” in the case of “manipulating the stock exchange,” with a state of pleasure and happiness despite his health condition, saying: “Praise be to God, our Lord, half of us after many years.”
