SERAMBINEWS.COM, BIREUEN – The suspect in the murder of Farhan (23), a resident of Pulo Pineung Meunasah Dua Village, Jangka District, Bireuen Regency with the initials Ism (27).
Ism is a resident of the same village as the victim and was arrested Tuesday (3/5/2022) and only confessed to killing the victim on Wednesday (4/5/2022) night.
The suspect also admitted to participating in the prayer for the victim’s body along with other residents.
The suspect, who is a little short, was shown at a press conference at the Mapolres
Bireuen, Thursday (5/5/2022) accompanied by members of the Bireuen Police.
The suspect was wearing an orange prison shirt and a red checkered sarong and both hands were handcuffed.
In the press conference, the suspect admitted to killing the victim out of revenge because two months ago the victim borrowed his cellphone, the Oppo brand.
Then the smartphone was mortgaged to someone else and the victim went to Banda Aceh.
“My cellphone was digala (pawned) to other people, several times I asked to be returned, but it has not been returned,” said Ism smoothly.
