Farewell to ZVEH Managing Director Ingolf Jakobi

As general director of the ZVEH Ingolf Jacobi since 2004 responsible, among other things, for the consolidation of six electricity businesses into three new broadband businesses. It is also thanks to his persuasive work that the master craftsman’s job titles of electrical and computer technicians reflect the modern business fields.

He also sat down Jacob, who has also been a member of the self-governing bodies of BG ETEM since 1994, has successfully campaigned on the theme of “contributory stability”; he was also involved in the development of the business model.

Official adoption on December 13, 2022

Tuesday 13 December 2022 Ingolf Jacobi officially adopted. Around 130 guests from the electrical trade, electrical wholesalers, electrical industry and associated associations and organizations attended the festivities at the ZVEH office in Frankfurt. In his speech, ZVEH President Lothar Hellmann recalled the many important decisions that the CEO had made during his activity in the association, recognized his merits in his work for the electrical trades and thanked him on behalf of the board for the decades of work.

»An era ends with you. An era to look back on with pride. Because one leaves a well-ordered house not only within the association. His departure also comes at a time when our industry – despite the war in Ukraine and inflation – can look to the future with great optimism and self-confidence«, says the president ZVEH Lothar Hellman in his eulogy.

Hellman he referred in particular to the successful modernization of the job descriptions of the electricity trade, the positioning as a climate trade and the early orientation towards the energy transition and networking and interprofessional working: »This openness to trends and developments, coupled with a good sense of future challenges and opportunities, has repeatedly enabled the e-craft organization to set the course early and be at the forefront of developments instead of wasting time preventing the progress.«

successor of Ingolf Jacobi as general manager of ZVEH he is a lawyer Alexander Neuhauserwhich joined the electricity trade organization in 2007 and has been a member of the board of directors since 2014. Neuhäuser will officially take over the leadership of the association on 1 January 2023.
