Farewell to Peter Van de Veire and room for new talent: this is what 2022 will look like at MNM | Music

MusicRadio station MNM starts the new year with three new programs. Jarno Boone, Esther Nwanu and Robin Keyaert, three young talents, will start their own program after the Christmas holidays. In addition, MNM Party will receive a new program about Tomorrowland Winter and a weekly DJ set by Masai.

MNM-DJ Esther Nwanu is there every Friday and Saturday from 4 to 7 pm with Bouger! Bouger!. Esther is 23 years old, lives in Brussels and comes from Laakdal. She was discovered at MNM through the talent days and started at MNM Late Night. In addition, she presented Marathonradio, MNM R&Beats and MNM Stressed Out, among others.

Robin Keyaert, Ingeborg’s son, can be heard every Sunday from January 23 on MNM with Robin from the radio. In his new show, the radio belongs to the listener, with a place for their stories and request numbers. Robin is 27 years old and lives in Ghent. He studied Kleinkunst at the Antwerp Conservatory. At MNM he presented BFF, he made the video series A Song For A Friend and together with Kawtar Ehlalouch he took care of the morning show last summer.

From Monday to Thursday, MNM listeners can hear Jarno Boone at work on MNM. He takes care of the closing from 10 pm to midnight with the brand new program Hello with Jarno. In this interactive show, MNM-DJ Jarno listens to anyone who has something to say or who just wants to push his mobile against his ear. Jarno is 26 years old, lives in Antwerp and comes from West Flanders. He gained experience as a crowd-warmer, comments on NBA games on ELEVEN Sports and has presented on MNM since September 2021.

Fixed values and even more novelties

In 2022, MNM will also say goodbye to one of the fixed values. On April 1, Peter Van de Veire will be heard on the channel for the last time. But until then, MNM listeners can still enjoy De Grote Peter Van de Veire Morning Show from Monday to Friday. Gillis & Govaerts try to keep up with the good intentions in January, together with the listeners. And Brahim and Astrid Demeure are also present this year. Just like the MNM50 with Wouter Van den Breen and the Ultratop with Aaron Blommaert. Generation M with Dorianne Aussems will again this year provide an interactive radio talk show with a focus on young people.

The new year brings with it a series of novelties. From Friday 14 January, MNM will start around 11 p.m. with MNM Party: The Road to Tomorrowland Winter with a preview of the second edition of Tomorrowland Winter. And also on Saturday, MNM will welcome a brand new DJ: Masai, who will take care of MNM Party from 10 pm to 11 pm with a set full of steamy Afro beat, hip hop and R&B every week.
