The protagonist of the historic TV series died at 90
MacLeod was one of the undisputed protagonists of the US series set on a cruise ship, participating in all 249 episodes produced between 1977 and 1987 (aired in Italy since 1980). During his career he has alternated film and television roles, such as the sitcom “Mary Tyler Moore” where he played the character of Murray Slaughter for ten years.
