Černé’s professional colleagues, music publicists Josef Vlček, Ondřej Bezr, Honza Vedral, Pavel Klusák, Jan Rejžek, Petr Nosálek, Ivan Hartman, Daniel Konrád and others came to say goodbye. Many of his former colleagues were also present.
Evangelical parish priest Miloš Rejchrt and Catholic priest, theologian, religionist, sociologist, psychologist, and philosopher Tomáš Halík performed the service for the deceased. He recalled that during his life, Černý entered not only the world of music and culture, but also the social world.
Černý has been dedicated to music and its popularization since the sixties. After the communists banned his radio hit parade for political reasons, he toured the republic with Anti-Discos, where he played and talked about our banned authors living abroad.
In November 1989, he moderated the events of the Civic Forum, which was established at the time, and in December 2011, he presented the Tribute to Václav Havel concert in Lucerne, which took place on the day of the funeral of the first Czech president.
