‘Far Cry 6’ will feature DLC with content from Rambo, Stranger Things, and more

We already knew that Far Cry 6 will feature future content with villains from previous franchise games, but it looks like Ubisoft has a lot more planned.

A teaser released today showed that star Danny Trejo, in addition to the Rambo and Stranger Things franchises, will have content in Far Cry 6 in the future.

Far Cry 6 takes place on the island of Yara, the biggest Far Cry playground ever released and a tropical paradise frozen in time. Giancarlo Esposito plays Anton Castillo and serves as the island’s dictator. The boy on the cover is his son, Diego, who follows in his father’s bloody footsteps.

Dani Rojas is the main character, a soldier who fights for freedom. You will have the option to choose between male or female.

Far Cry 6 arrives on October 7th and will have a free upgrade to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In other words, if you buy the PS4 or Xbox One edition, there will be no additional costs for the new generation.
