Far Cry 6 lets you play like thugs from previous games

Ubisoft has already revealed a bunch of details if Far Cry 6 this month, and on Thursday it came even more. During the developer’s Ubisoft Forward show, we got a look at the plans for the game’s season pass, which includes a reunion with the series’ previous villains.

Admittedly, the additional expansions for Far Cry 6 extend a little further than just meetings with Vaas, Pagan Min and Joseph Seed. Here you will actually get to play as the thugs from Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5, respectively.

Through your own stories, you get to see how the deeds became the twisted people we meet in the games. The trailer for the season pass, which you can see above, hints at a hallucinatory affair with Vaas, tragedy for Pagan Min and more hallucinations with Joseph Seed.

It is not entirely clear whether Ubisoft wants us to sympathize with these psychopaths, so that part remains to be seen.

Villains were the focus of Thursday’s Far Cry 6 presentation, and Ubisoft also had a new trailer starring Antón Castillo. This gives a new insight into the dictator’s troubled relationship with his son, Diego.

In the video, which you see on the right, Far Cry 6 protagonist Dani Rojas has seen a young boy on an escape attempt from the island. The gang does not get far before Antón shows up, and it turns out that the young boy is Diego on the run. It does not end well, but Dani gets away in one way or another.

Far Cry 6 launches on October 7, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 5, Stadia and Windows.
