Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed: all the games presented at the Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft presented its new game line-up for the end of 2020 on Sunday.

Watch Dogs Legion has a release date

To start its online event, Ubisoft gave us a new trailer for the next episode of Watch Dogs. It reveals a London in which citizens are martyred, in which a private militia does not hesitate to repress any form of digression. The main character is therefore not a single person, but the entire Londoners. A kind of resistance is set up to counter this militia, created by the Albion company.

We also discover that there will be several antagonists, each more cruel than the other, and that the missions will make us discover the emblematic places of the English capital, such as the Tower of London or Big Ben. To complete these missions, it will be possible to control any of the Londoners recruited from the streets. Each will also have their own skill, ranging from drone control to the hitman through the converted militiaman. Each individual will also have their own fighting character and style.

The release date is finally fixed: Watch Dogs Legion will be released on October 29, 2020.

Brawlhalla will be released very soon on Android and iOS

Ubisoft’s free Smash Bros-like released 3 years ago arrives in early October on iOS and Android. We no longer present the game, but we also learn that the multiplayer component will be cross-platform with the other supports.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad: a video

A new video from Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is revealed to us. There is no question here of announcing the release date, but of showing the nervousness of the gameplay and its verticality. The universe that is shown to us takes place in an Asian city, in which battles will be the keystone of this mobile game. All of the heroes and villains from Tom Clancy’s games will be playable. We also learn that the game will be released on August 27, 2020, and that it is already possible to pre-register to benefit from the day of its release.

The scenario of Hyper Scape becomes clearer

Unveiled a few days ago, the battle royal that Ubisoft is developing has revealed new information about its scenario. We learn that the game takes place in the near future, in 2054, after Man has made rather controversial choices in relation to his ecosystem. In a devastated world, the Prisma company created the virtual world Hyper Scape, in which humans can find themselves and take part in a fierce fight in the fictional city of Neo Arcardia. The winner of this fight would see his life forever change and become rich.

The fighting will take place in the streets, but also on the roofs of buildings. The hacks system is exposed, and is akin to special abilities, such as teleportation or invisibility. A voting system is also set up during the games, in order to select an event that will influence the course of the game. The game is already available to everyone in the open beta phase.

Gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has finally been revealed. There are boat trips, looting of indigenous villages and the capture of enemy abbeys. The Vikings will loot the treasures of the British in order to get even richer. We also discover the management of colonies, with a map specially designed to have a rather complete overview of all of its colonies. To establish these colonies, it will be necessary to storm fortresses and other English abbeys. To achieve this, Eivor and his allies will use rams, ladders and catapults to attack the enemy ramparts.

The fighting has been heavily reworked. They are much more brutal, and rely heavily on the execution of enemies and face to face. It will also be possible to dismember his enemies, and this in a rather violent way.

Stealth obviously remains at the heart of this new Assassin’s Creed, with new infiltration systems. We also find the cache system of the first Assassin’s Creed, among the monks or on a bench with anonymous.

Finally, the main character can explore the world around him and discover the richness of his ecosystem. He will also find many well-known historic places, such as the Stonehenge.

The official release date is revealed: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on November 17, 2020 on PS4, Xbox One and PC and some time later on next-gen consoles.

Far Cry 6

The rumor has been swelling for a few days, it is now official. Ubisoft unveils the all new episode of its Far Cry series. Exit the plains of Nevada, the player will be immersed in a South American dictatorship. The leader is also embodied by the actor of Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito. He will play the role of Anton Castillo, who reigns with his son with an iron fist over its population.

As always, the antagonist is very mentally disturbed. We see him put in his son’s hands a grenade which he unpins and takes the opportunity to give him a moral lesson on the control of a population. It wants to overthrow him at all costs, but he maintains the reign of terror over his fellow citizens, not hesitating to torture and sacrifice them to assuage his power.

Far Cry 6 is finally given an official release date. It will be released on February 18, 2021, most likely on PC and next-gen consoles.
