IV Competition “The Artwork of Baroque” might be opened on October 22 /Friday/ at 7 pm with a live performance within the Sofia Metropolis Artwork Gallery.
The piano duo Vasily Ilisavsky – Galina Draganova and the guitar virtuoso from the Netherlands Izhar Elias will transport the viewers to the ambiance of a European salon from the start of the nineteenth century. Entitled “Fantasia, Variations, Tempest”, the live performance contains works by Mauro Giuliani, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Anton Diabelli, Franz Stubert and Johann Caspar Mertz.
Of all of the ensembles with historic devices, the mixture of hammer clavier and guitar is to the fashionable ear one of the crucial unique.
