Yesterday more than 3,300 fans witnessed the start of the new year in Linz, when the Black Wings welcomed Innsbrucker Haie. And it is thanks to some that the guests have not scored another goal.
A curiosity happened yesterday in the match between Black Wings Linz and HC Innsbruck. Haie scored a goal, walked away jubilant and the referees had nothing to complain about either.
But it got interesting when the goal was shown on the video wall and the fans in the hall loudly complained about the goalkeeper’s handicap. This got the attention of the Black Wings bench and they took up the “Coaches Challenge”. The referees studied the hit via video and actually nullified the hit.
