although Jason Reitman probably no Ghostbustersmovie that will divide the fans like Ghostbusters from 2016, has the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife in any case led to a heated debate.
This is the sequel to the Ghostbustersmovies fans have been waiting for pretty much since 1989. A worthy sequel, in which the son of one of the creators of the original films takes over from his father.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife-reactions
On Twitter, fans react very differently to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Some are very impressed with the new film, others feel that there is too much emphasis on nostalgia and too little humor in the film.
Here’s a sampling of the responses:
It’s one of those movies that critics don’t understand but is a damn fine funny awesome movie. Almost like a old Spielberg film which itself is awesome!!! #GhostbustersAfterlife ???????? can’t believe @paulfeig crap movie got better reviews from critics when ppl hated it

Here’s my unpopular opinion regarding #GhostbustersAfterlife:
They dropped all the really good stuff at the end so you’ll give the movie a pass overall. It’s a fine enough movie but it’s not this wonderful thing everyone is making it out to be.
Reality setting in is gonna suck. pic.twitter.com/sl59JQjhDo
