OGAE clubs across Europe have given their verdict for Malmö.
Like every year, Eurovision fans, members of national clubs OGAE (General Organization of Eurovision Amateurs) voted “like Eurovision» and chose their big winner.
According to them, it is Croatia which will win the 68th Eurovision Song Contest with the group’s song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” Baby Lasagna.
In the top 3, we find Italy with the winner of the Sanremo Festival, Angelina Mango and “La noia”, as well as Switzerland which will offer “The Code” by the artist Nemo. The singer, originally from Bienne, is rather the choice of bookmakers. They see him leaving with the trophy at this point.
Our compatriot Black would finish in 4th place in the competition, just ahead… Slimane, for France. An unpleasant surprise for our Dutch neighbors, the title “Europapa” of Joost Klein only comes in 10th place. However, quickly after its release in the Netherlands, the title was number 1 on Spotify there and here. The return of Luxembourg to Eurovision does not cause an earthquake among the fans either, with only 12 points, the singer Such is ranked 17th.
Remember that this ranking of fans is only a survey. All the same, 5,760 people gave their opinion. And their result is not always the same as at the end of the Eurovision Grand Final…
The choice of the Belgians
Belgian Eurovision fans gathered last Saturday April 6 in Brussels (at the White Cinema) to vote. Their first three places go, in order to Lithuania (Silvester Belt with “Luktelk”), France (Slimane) and Switzerland. Fans gave odds out of 20 to each title in competition.
To take the temperature of the enthusiasm around Mustii, the Belgians were able to give a rating to our singer, but this result is only given for information purposes. In this little game, Mustii wins hands down with 4,623 points, compared to 3,676 for the Lithuanian singer and 3,675 points for Slimane.
Eurovision is officially launched this weekend, with the first rehearsals. Mustii’s discovery of the Malmö Arena stage is scheduled for this Tuesday, April 30 around 12:30 p.m. We will have a first idea of the show that the Brussels singer will offer.
