Switzerland signed a fine double on Saturday at the World Cup in Idre.

Vaudoise Fanny Smith won her 22nd career success in Sweden on her 100th start, while Bernese rider Ryan Regez had her third success at this level.

Already victorious in Val Thorens and San Candido this season, Fanny Smith (27) has ridden for the fifth time this winter on the “box”, in eight races. Second in the classification of the discipline, the 2018 Olympic bronze medalist thus returns 59 points from the Swedish leader Sandra Näslund, 2nd Saturday.

Ryan Regez won for the second time this season after his success at Montafon in December. The 26-year-old Bernese, who beat Canadian Brady Leman (2nd) in the final, went from 3rd to 2nd place in the World Cup. But he is 129 points behind Canadian Kevin Drury, 8th in Idre.
