Fans also climbed some of the superstructures on Frankfurt’s Paulsplatz to receive the Eintracht players on Thursday.
“This is dangerous, affects the technology that has been set up and ultimately endangers the celebration,” the police wrote in a tweet.
Many fans celebrated the Eintracht victory loudly and exuberantly on the streets, but without violence.
