Fan information for the Bundesliga game in Heidenheim

Dear FCA fans,

Please note the following information for FC Augsburg’s away game in Heidenheim on Sunday, September 1st, at 3:30 p.m.

Venue: Voith-Arena

Tickets: The guest block is sold out, so there will be no box office on site.

Arrival

By public transport: From Heidenheim train station (platform 3), free shuttle buses run every 20 minutes to the stadium starting 2 hours before the start of the game and back again after the game.

Please noteDue to the limited capacity of the trains used between Ulm and Heidenheim, they will be very full and, especially when departing after the game, there will most likely not be space for all fans on the train, so some will have to switch to a later connection. The departure times after the game (to Ulm and there a change to Augsburg) are 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:24 p.m. and 8 p.m. Please understand that you may have to wait half an hour for the next connection. From Ulm to Augsburg, capacity should no longer be a problem due to larger trains.

Bus and fans in wheelchairs: Buses can use the free guest bus parking area in the immediate vicinity of the guest entrance. Due to the low capacity and the high number of buses, nine-seaters cannot park there.

Buses and fans with a parking concession card for people with severe disabilities (official “blue parking card”) generally park in the guest parking area directly at the entrance to the guest block.

Access is from above the Voith Arena via the “Baseball Ballpark” or the FCH training grounds “Heeräcker”. Once you get there, follow the narrow road until you reach the guest block. Security guards will show you the parking spaces.

Address for navigation: Heerackerweg 23, 89522 Heidenheim

Car:
There are sufficient parking spaces for guests at the SV Mergelstetten sports facilities.

The footpath from the car park leads along the “Mergelstetter Reute” road to the “Baseball Ballpark” entrance or the FCH training grounds “Heerackerweg”. Past the “Baseball Ballpark” you continue about 300-500 meters down the hill to the right until you reach the guest block at the Voith Arena.

Address for navigation: “Stuttgarter Ring 102, 89522 Heidenheim”

Due to the tense traffic situation in Heidenheim, we recommend leaving the A7 at exit 117 – Giengen Herbrechtingen.

9-seaters and minibuses:
For 9-seaters, the P4 Baseball parking lot is available next to the SV Mergelstetten parking lot (see directions by car), if free.
The access to the P4 parking lot “Baseball Ballpark” is the same as for coaches.

General directions coming from the A7:
Take exit 117-Giengen towards Herbrechtingen/Sontheim/Brenz/Dillingen.
Then take the B19 towards Heidenheim. After entering Heidenheim, turn left at the first traffic lights. Follow Hainenbachstraße and then Buchhofsteige. This leads seamlessly into Mergelstetter Reute and thus into the route map above.
