Last week, Naughty Dog released a new update for The Last of Us: Part II which added several new features. One of them was the Grounded difficulty, which makes the experience more difficult and brutal than ever. Something that the study did not reveal is that it prepared a little secret for all who overcome this challenge.
What happens is that users who have already finished The Last of Us: Part II Grounded noted that the credits were a bit different than when they first finished it. This is because instead of playing the cover of Wayfaring Stranger done by Ashley Johnson (voice of Ellie) and Troy Baker (voice of Joel), another song is heard.
What is it about? Of one that has great importance for the subjects of The Last of Us: Part II: Future Days by Pearl Jam. It is worth mentioning that it is not the original version of the American group, since it is the version that Troy Baker recorded for Joel to sing within the game.

It is a detail that will surely thrill fans of The Last of Us: Part II, especially those who feel a connection to Joel. After all, the theme is important to the plot of the game and in the story we can never hear the full version.
It should be mentioned that this is not the only surprise that Naughty Dog hid in this update. What happens is that users report that the end of the game with permanent death can hear Through the Valley de Ashley Johnson.
At the moment it is unknown what song will sound at the end of the game in Grounded and with permanent death. We’ll see if someone achieves this feat and tells the world about it.
