The famous American television presenter Larry King died this Saturday at the age of 87 in a Los Angeles hospital, where he was admitted after testing positive for coronavirus.
As reported by his relatives in a statement posted on the profiles of the communicator, King “died this morning at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a tough battle against the coronavirus.”
“With deep sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host and friend Larry King,” reads the note posted on the networks.
“For 63 years and on radio, television and digital media platforms, Larry’s thousands of interviews, awards and global accolades are a testament to his unique and enduring talent as a broadcaster,” the text adds.
Larry King hosted the famous “Larry King Live” on CNN for more than 25 years.
