Famous people such as María Elena Saldaña (“La Güereja”), Rafael Inclán, Paul Stanley and Daniela Castro attended the night of September 11 at the funeral of Benito Castro, actor, musician and also comedian who died at the age of 77 after suffering a terrible fall on the stairs of his house.
According to reports, “La Güereja” was one of the first to arrive at the funeral home, located south of Mexico City. Saldaña and Castro were part of the program “La Güereja y algo más”, where Benito played María Elena’s father.
“I feel very crushed, Benito is an important part for me and my career, the trust he had in me is very great.”

People like Rafael Inclán, Paul Stanley and Daniela Castro were also present at the funeral, however, they refused to give any statement to the media about Benito Castro’s death.
However, composer Kiko Campos did dedicate some words to the actor: “Let him be strong and fly very high with that overwhelming personality and with that talent.”
His daughter, Deborah Castro, and his widow were in charge of receiving Benito’s friends and family at the funeral, where Los Dandys attended to play some songs in honor of the comedian.
